Saturday, May 2, 2009, the streets of lower Manhattan came alive with the Tribeca Family Festival Street Fair, which marks the close of more than 200 film screenings and dozens of other events for the Tribeca Film Festival.  On Site Energy for the second consecutive year was selected as the official “power source” for the Tribeca Family Festival Street Fair.  They had generators parked on North Moore, Beach, Hubert, Harrison, and Jay Streets, silently providing power to the hundreds of power outlets required for the various sponsors and vendors that displayed and entertained the audience of thousands.

Throughout the day, the crowds strolled through the streets of Tribeca visiting tents sponsored by local schools that held a variety of fundraising activities, and local restaurants and merchants offering Tribeca’s finest foods, refreshments, and merchandise. Visitors attended shows performed by cast members of “Shrek the Musical”, a concert by Hot Peas ‘N Butter and sports fans attended a variety of hands-on games, demonstrations & clinics sponsored by  the Tribeca/ESPN Sports Day.  Models Anastasia and Coco Rocha were also in attendance enjoying the street fair.  While all this went on, On Site Energy’s generators not only provided seamless power solutions, but they did it keeping in mind the thousands of adults, children and strollers that would pass over the cables that were running throughout the streets of Tribeca.  To ensure everyone’s safety On Site Energy utilized their cable ramps to make certain that everyone could move about in a safe manner while attending the Tribeca Family Festival Fair.
